STC Community Survey 2026

Welcome to the Spearfish Trails Coalition (STC) Community Survey!

SURVEY AUDIENCE: Spearfish residents, visitors, and anyone with any connection to Spearfish or Spearfish trails. Even if you do not use or plan to use Spearfish trails, we want to hear from you! Your voice matters!
TIME COMMITMENT: This short survey takes about 10-12 minutes.
PURPOSE OF SURVEY: Your voluntary responses help us learn about experiences with Spearfish Trails Coalition and Spearfish trails. Questions collect information about your experiences with the Spearfish Trails Coalition, your experiences using Spearfish trails, and some general demographic information.
- We do not collect identifiers such as names, addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers within the STC Community Survey. So please do not disclose names or other identifiers in text responses. Any unintentional disclosure is deidentified prior to sharing outside of the research team (principal investigator and assistant researcher) with the STC Board.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES: Your feedback informs the work of Spearfish Trails Coalition and our mission to improve Spearfish trails for all users. A report summarizing the data collected will be made available to the public. As a "thank you," upon completing our survey you can voluntarily enter a drawing for one of three $100 gift cards. Please only one survey per person!
